Hitchin Town v Ramsgate

Ramsgate will look to forget their poor league form on Saturday when they travel to Hertfordshire for their Second Round Qualifying tie against Southern League side Hitchin Town in the FA Trophy.

Ramsgate's sole win in their last 11 games came in the competition on October 18 at Tonbridge, and manager Jim Ward is hoping their cup run can continue.

He saidL "Hitchin are about the same standard as we are in terms of league position.

"I've spoken to people about them and we appear to be well matched.

"They are a big, direct side, no different to what we face most weeks in the Ryman League. We haven't drawn a team better than us, it would have been better with a home draw but we'll look to get through."

Lee Minshull, Aaron Firth and Simon Pettit will all be missing from Saturday's squad.
