Terry Yorath will bring experience to Margate

Former Wales manager Terry Yorath has been named as the new director of football at Margate.

Yorath joins the club with responsibilities to direct and take overall control for the restructure and development of their long-term future.

His appointment will also bring management experience to the team and assist new joint-managers Barry Ashby and Paul Smith settle into their new management roles.

Yorath’s contract will see him move to Thanet. He is due to meet with the club's supporters for the first time tonight (Tuesday) when he joins the directors for questions at Hartsdown Park from 7pm.
