Witness appeal after motorbike and police car collide in Maidstone

A man was taken to hospital suffering from leg and back injuries after a collision between a motorcycle and a police car.

Officers are appealing for witnesses after the accident at 5.30pm yesterday in Maidstone.

The police car was responding to an emergency call when it was involved in the collision with the 27-year-old man's grey Honda bike.

It happened on the A229 Fairmeadow.
