Police investigating after employee assaulted at Aldi in Maidstone

Police are investigating after reports a supermarket employee was attacked in Maidstone.

The incident is alleged to have happened at around 7.45pm on April 28 at Aldi in Laight Road, off the A274 Sutton Road, when a group of people placed groceries in a bag and then left without paying.

A woman in the group assaulted a member of staff as she exited the premises with a teenage child.
