Keane to play at Bedgebury

Award-winning band Keane will play a summer concerts at Bedgebury Pinetum next year.

The band, who went to Tonbridge School and hail from Battle in East Sussex, will play at the pinetum, near Goudhurst, on Friday, June 11, as part of the Forestry Commission’s live music tour.

Simply Red perform on Saturday, June 12. The Friday night concert takes place instead of the previous Sunday night gig.

Keane have had three consecutive number one albums Hopes and Fears, in 2004, Under The Iron Sea, in 2006 and Perfect Symmetry, in 2008, garnering Brits, Grammy’s and Ivor Novello Awards.

Their collection of hits include Everybody’s Changing, Is It Any Wonder? Crystal Ball, Somewhere Only We Know and ‘Spiralling.

Forestry Commission live music takes place each summer in seven forest locations.
