Motorcyclist taken to King's College Hospital after being injured in three vehicle collision on M20

A motorcyclist was taken to King's College Hospital in London following a collision with two cars this morning. (July 10)

The 53-year-old cyclist, who was driving a blue Honda motorbike, is believed to have suffered a broken leg and was reported by police to be conscious and breathing, despite laying motionless at one point.

It is believed that the bike collided with a BMW and a white Peugeot 206 between junctions eight and nine of the M20 at approximately 7.15 am.

Drivers travelling in both directions faced delays.

Lanes two and three London-bound were closed as well as lane three coast bound, but the motorway was fully open again just after 8.20am.

Kent Highways said a rolling road block had been put in place which took meant motorists took around 35 minutes to drive the stretch.
