Police have arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of card fraud at the White rabbit roundabout in Maidstone.

The arrest, yesterday afternoon, came after an earlier incident at Marks and Spencer where an attempt was made to use a false card to buy £200 worth off items.

It's thought the same card was used to buy £200 worth of cigarettes at Sainsbury's that morning.

The arrested man was questioned at Maidstone Police Station and granted bail to allow for further inquiries.
