A main road has reopened after a man was freed from the wreckage of an overturned vehicle on the A249 at Detling.
The driver was taken on a spinal board to an ambulance and driven to hospital.
A Ford Transit and a Renault Scenic collided on the Sittingbourne-bound side of the busy dual carriageway just after 4pm.
The road has reopened but Kent Highways has advised of long delays in the area.
A police spokesman said there are not believed to be any life-threatening injuries.
Highways England initially estimated the road would be reopened by 5.45pm but then changed that to 6.15pm.
