Crash on A229 heading into Maidstone

Motorists are urged to avoid the Loose Road heading into Maidstone if at all possible tonight.

There has been an accident just above the junction with Armstrong Road involving three cars.

The collision is believed to have happened at around 5pm.

There are no details yet of any injuries.

Traffic is still moving, but expect delays.
