Six hurt in two-car pile-up

THREE men and three women were taken to hospital after two cars were involved in a head-on crash near Maidstone.

A green Peugeot 206 and a silver Rover collided in Old Chatham Road, Blue Bell Hill, shortly before 6.45pm last night.

Firefighters from Larkfield cut people from the wreckage. One of the women suffered possible head injuries while one of the men had suspected fractures in his upper left arm.

All six casualties suffered cuts and grazes and were taken to Maidstone Hospital by four land ambulances.
