Tonbridge manager Tommy Warrilow felt his players had "let the fans down" with their performance in last Saturday’s 3-0 FA Cup second qualifying round defeat at Chelmsford.

Warrilow (pictured) said: "Sometimes you have to hold your hands up and admit that you didn’t turn up.

"What made it more disappointing was that our fans travelled there in numbers and the players let them down.

"But those same fans, who had seen our three previous games, will know that we had begun to get things going, and that’s what is so frustrating because we let our standards drop."

Warrilow, however, insists that he still has faith in his squad ahead of Saturday's home Blue Square Bet South game with second-from-bottom Hampton & Richmond.

He said: "We have learned that Jon Main is going to be out for a couple of months because his knee problem needs rest and strengthening exercises, and Scott Kinch is going to have a scan on his foot problem."

Anthony Storey and Tim Olorunda will start suspensions next weekend
