COMEDIAN Vic Reeves pleaded guilty to drink-driving after allegedly being involved in a road crash near his home in Boughton Malherbe, near Maidstone, on Good Friday.

Appearing under his real name James Moir, the comic entered his plea at Maidstone Magistrates' Court while wife Nancy watched from the public gallery.

Mr Moir is also charged with leaving the scene of an accident but did not enter a plea to that charge. The case has been adjourned until Thursday, April 21.

Mr Moir has been temporarily disqualified from driving until his final sentence has been decided.
