Winger Mitchell Pinnock has joined Maidstone United from Bromley on a one-year deal.
United beat off competition from several clubs to land the 20-year-old, having missed out on his signature last season.
Stones boss Jay Saunders said: "I tried to get him in when Alex Flisher had his knee injury but I couldn't get it agreed and I was close again just before George Porter came in but for one reason or another it didn't happen.
"He ended up going on loan to Tonbridge and did really well. We kept an eye on him and I know Steve McKimm (Angels boss) was desperate to keep him.
"He was with Arsenal and Southend as a kid and is someone I think will add to the squad.
"He's got a lot of quality, he can put the ball on a sixpence with his left foot and he wants to improve.
"I know he had other offers in Conference South but he was very keen to come here."
