Police and ambulance called to man trapped between steel containers at New Hythe Business Park in Larkfield

A man has been taken to hospital after becoming trapped between two steel containers.

The victim, aged in his 50s, suffered back and stomach injuries in the accident at New Hythe Business Park in Larkfield.

Police, paramedics and air ambulance crews were called to the scene just before 4pm.

A South East Coast Ambulance spokesman said the man was released from the containers before they arrived.

He was conscious while being treated at the scene, before being taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital by road.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called by Secamb to attend a suspected industrial accident at a premises in the New Hythe Business Park, Larkfield at 3.52pm.

"Officers have attended the scene and are providing assistance to medical crews."
