A car burst into flames on the coast-bound carriageway of the M2 between Chatham and Gillingham this lunchtime.
The vehicle was destroyed in the blaze which is believed to have been sparked by an electrical fault.
A crew from Strood Fire and Rescue were called out to the incident between junction 3 and 4 at about 12.20pm.
