Chatham man found murdered named

A man from Chatham who was found murdered has been named as Antoine Denis.

The body of the 66-year-old was found inside his flat at Copperfield House, New Road, Chatham at about 10.45pm on Saturday, January 9.

It has been established that he died from a single stab wound.

A 69-year-old man from Chatham who was arrested on Monday 11 January on suspicion of murder has been released on police bail until 28 January while investigations continue.

A 43-year-old man from Chatham who was arrested on Friday, January 14, on suspicion of murder is still being questioned at Medway Police Station.
