Police, ambulance and fire crews were sent after the accident happened just after 8pm and a large crowd of people rushed to the scene to try and help both drivers.

The first person on the scene was Cherysh Nolan who pulled the driver to safety amid fears the vehicle was going to catch fire.

She said the driver was screaming with her to get her out.

She posted to say she tried her best to right the overturned car, but wasn't able to.

Both people received treatment by ambulance crews.
