Traffic was queuing on the M2 after four cars were involved in an accident.

Two lanes were shut due on the coastbound carriageway due to debris on the road, although all lanes have been reopened.

Traffic stretched back from junction 2 to junction 1.

Police were called at 4.13pm and remain on the scene.

Traffic conditions have returned to normal.
