Suspected Gillingham drug dealer arrested during welfare check

A man has been arrested after heroin and cocaine was found during a welfare check.

Last Wednesday police visited an address in Gillingham following reports of suspicious behaviour.

A search revealed a quantity of class A drugs, cash, and drugs paraphernalia and a man was arrested at the scene.

Jack Flisher, of Rock Avenue, Gillingham, was charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine last Thursday (June 15).

The 27-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court the following day, where he pleaded not guilty.

He was remanded in custody until a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, July 14.
