Female pedestrian suffers serious head injuries in Strood car crash

A woman has been seriously hurt after being hit by a car in Strood.

The pedestrian suffered serious head injuries when she was struck by a red Seat Ibiza in Frindsbury Road last night.

She was taken to the Royal London Hospital after the crash at about 8.40pm.

Kent Police said she remains in a serious condition in hospital today.

Witnesses are asked to phone the Kent Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538.
