Firefighters tackled a small fire in a derelict building in Rochester earlier this morning.

The crews spent about half an hour at the scene.

At this stage it is not known how the fire started.

In November 2016 a £200,000 barge moored at the shipyard was destroyed during a blaze and another building was also left burnt out.

A teenager was convicted in July last year of setting several fires in the area and elsewhere.
