Have you seen Tinkerbell the chihuahua? The four-month-old puppy has been stolen from Chatham.

She was taken from outside the House of Favour, a place of worship in Manor Road, at about 5.30pm last Wednesday.

Now Kent Police is urging witnesses to come forward to find Tinkerbell, who is tan/beige and has a black stripe down the middle of her back.

PC Debra Trowell is appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to think back.

She said: “Did you see someone with the puppy outside the House of Favour last week? Perhaps you saw someone walking her that evening and assumed at the time that they were doing so legitimately?

“Have you been offered the puppy for sale? We are concerned about the welfare of the dog and want her to be returned to her rightful owner as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to phone Kent Police on 01622 690690 or Kent Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
