A man has been charged with modern day slavery and human trafficking and will appear before magistrates in Medway.

Dusan Sabo, 53, has been charged with trafficking a person into the United Kingdom for exploitation and knowingly holding another person in slavery.

He has also been charged with theft.

Sabo, of Corporation Road, Gillingham, was charged after an investigation by police and has been bailed to appear at the court in Chatham, on Tuesday, June 7.
