A body found in woodland in Gillingham has still not been identified.

The woman’s body was discovered on land between Owens Way and Copperhouse Lane on Thursday morning.

Police vehicles plus a forensics team went to the scene which was sealed off with police tape.

A spokesman for Kent Police said the death was not believed to be suspicious.

The identity of the woman has not been released as formal identification has not yet taken place.
