Resurfacing works will close part of Blue Bell Hill from tonight.

The route is due to be shut from tonight between the Lord Lees roundabout, at Junction 3 of the M2, and Cobtree roundabout, at Junction 6 of the M20.

A diversion route will be in place between 8pm and 6am for 15 nights.

Drivers will divert by the M2 coast-bound from Junction 3 to 5, the A249 south-bound from the M2 to the M20 and the London-bound M20 from Junction 7 to Junction 6.

The works are being carried out by Kent County Council.
