The Tour de France, the world’s most famous bike race, comes through London today, bringing back fond memories of its visit to Medway seven years ago.
Thousands of people turned out to watch as the riders came through the Towns in July 2007, the last time the Tour de France contained stages in England. It also happened in 1974 and 1994.
Le Tour started in Yorkshire on Saturday and the cyclists were setting off from Cambridge this morning, heading for the capital. It is due to end in Paris on July 27.
