The school is part of Rivermead Inclusive Trust which includes Walderslade Primary School and Hoo St Werburgh Primary School.

The school want to raise £2,000 to transform some of the rooms at its centre.

So far, they have raised £185.

Assistant Head Sarah Negus, said: "We thought crowdfunding would be a novel and exciting way to raise the funds involving our immediate community and, hopefully, the wider community.

"Not only can it raise the funds we need but because of the nature of how it works, it will hopefully have the dual effect of showing the teenagers in our care that a lot of people really care about them.
"We are relying on our community and their friends and family and beyond to get behind our crowdfunding campaign, donate and spread the word on their own social media channels.

"Raising these funds with everyone's support will make a huge difference to the recovery of teenagers in need."
Shelley Ribbon, head of provision at Triple R , said: "Our learners deserve the best and therefore creating enabling environments within our provision is vital for their wellbeing."
