Two men arrested after victim mowed down by car in Chatham

A victim was left seriously injured after being mown down by a car in an attack.

Police are seeking witnesses after a car containing two people was driven at two pedestrians in Institute Road, Chatham, at around 11.15pm on Thursday, November 4.

One of the pedestrians was seriously injured following the collision and officers subsequently arrested a man in his 20s from Sheerness and a second man in his 40s from Chatham.

Following inquiries and a review of CCTV, officers are looking for witnesses who may be able to identify other people who may have been in the car at the time.

The suspects and victims are believed to be known to each other.
