If you fancy a Whopper, look no further than the Burger King restaurant in Gillingham, which can now bring meals to your home.

The High Street restaurant starts a home delivery service from today.

The move means extra staff are being taken on to cope with the expected demand in orders.

People wanting a flame grilled burger delivered to their front door can order via the Just Eat or the hungryhouse apps or via the Burger King website.

Manager Tommy McGee said: “The Whopper is the most popular order at our branch and I will be taking on about 10 extra staff.

“We are the first Burger King in the area to offer the delivery service. Home deliveries will run every day between noon and 10pm.”

The restaurant is open from Monday to Saturday from 8am to 11pm and on Sunday from 9am to 10pm.
