Gillingham boss Ady Pennock believes he and his players have to take the criticism on the chin.
He was asked to comment on a situation at the end of Monday’s game where player Bradley Dack was caught up in a confrontation with a Gillingham fan.
The Gills were backed by over 2,000 fans at Charlton and many were left disgruntled. Some chose to take it out on individuals.
Pennock said: “I am as frustrated as they are, I can assure them, because I am a fan as well. We are all feeling it.

Reaction: Same old story for Gills boss
“The minority spoil it for the others, the majority of our fans are absolutely top drawer, but that happens at all clubs.
“They (the fans) showed their frustrations but as professionals you have to take it on the chin and move on.
“They say what they say, they pay good money, they are entitled to say what they want to say, but that’s football.
“You have to have thick skin in this industry. The players who got some stick, along with myself, have to move on and take it on the chin.”
