*Gillingham have signed 6ft 9inch goalkeeper Tomas Holy.
And the 25-year-old Czech keeper says it’s a dream come true after signing a two and a half year deal at Priestfield.
He said: “It has always been a dream of mine to play in England.
"I have followed the leagues since I was eight and I am looking forward to playing my first game in English football.
"I cannot wait to get the chance to help the team move up the table."
He will provide competition to Stuart Nelson for the no.1 shirt but the club are currently waiting on international clearance.
Holy came through the youth academy at Sparta Prague and has represented his country at junior level, up to under-18s.
He has played 12 games for Sparta but also spent time on loan at several clubs, including Graffin Vlašim, Viktoria Žižkov and most recently Fastav Zlín.
The keeper was first handed a trial at Gills in the final days of Justin Edinburgh’s reign.
Gills goakeeper coach Ian Pledger liked the look of the stopper and persuaded new head coach Ady Pennock to take a look. He liked what he saw.
Pennock said: “We've had a good look at him. Ian Pledger (goalkeeping coach) and I have both been impressed with what we’ve seen.
"He's a good age for a goalkeeper, so there's plenty of opportunity for him to continue developing.
"I'm really pleased to have secured his signature."
