Be a friend to Fawn

Want to cheer up a goose? Or soften the heart of a head-butting goat?

For as little as £20 a year, a donation to the Museum of Kent Life could help keep an animal fed, watered, clean and well-housed.

The museum has just introduced four new farm animals to its Adopt an Animal Scheme: Bella the Shire Horse, who has recently retired as a working horse; Gordon the grumpy Goose, a long-standing favourite who honks at passers-by; Fawn the Golden Guernsey Goat, described by the museum as “the supermodel of all the goats” and Bruce the Pygmy Goat, who tries to head-but his fellow goats but is described as a “big softy”.

Another 10 animals are also available for adoption.
