Epitome of country-style charm

TWO new showhomes were recently opened by Derek Wyatt, MP for Sittingbourne and Sheppey, at Ward Homes’ latest development, Meadowcroft in Iwade.

He was accompanied by Ward Homes chief executive, David Holliday. Before the official opening, more than 20 homes had already been reserved.

According to Ward Homes, the Throwley show home is a perfect illustration of the imaginative approach the company has taken at Meadowcroft. Outside, its attractive timber-effect frontage is the epitome of country-style charm.

Inside, the layout is unusual, arranged in a semi-L shaped configuration and designed for maximum space and light.

Each room, including the downstairs cloakroom, the en-suite with shower to the master bedroom, the separate utility room and even the stairwell, has at least one window.

On entering the property, the large irregularly shaped hallway has instant character and appeal. Off this is situated an expansive kitchen/dining room with French doors to the rear garden and an adjoining utility room.

The sitting room is double-aspected and also has French doors to the rear of the property.

Upstairs, four bedrooms are arranged around a generous central landing. The bedrooms are well-proportioned and offer roomy accommodation.

Meadowcroft comprises a broad range of different properties like The Throwley and the second showhome, the three bedroom, Pembury. Properties range from two bedroom apartments through to rambling five bedroom detached houses.

Prices at Meadowcroft start from £110,000.
