BUDGET airline EUjet is offering flights for £1 to Europe from Kent International Airport at Manston.

The rock bottom deal hs been announced by airline chief executive PJ McGoldrick. He said that 100,000 seats are up for grabs for the nominal fee as a special introductory offer on all its 20 UK and European routes.

He said: “We know that once passengers have flown with us they will come back time and time again. So we see this as a great opportunity for us and for our customers.”

The offer is open immediately and will run until midnight on Thursday, October 21. Travel must be completed between Monday, November 1, and Friday, March 11 next year.

Mr McGoldrick added: “We want business and leisure customers to have the easiest possible way of finding out how comfortable and convenient it is to travel with EUjet.

"The whole EUjet experience puts the fun back in travel. It is a two minute walk from your car to the check-in desks with no queues. As a bonus the car park charges at Kent International are £5 for one day and then £20 for a week or part of a week."

Passengers can now fly direct from Kent International direct to Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Jersey, Dublin, Shannon, Prague, Amsterdam, Girona, Nice, Madrid, Palma, Faro, Malaga, and Murcia.

Ski flights to Geneva, Zurich, Salzburg, Turin and Toulouse will be added later in the year.
