Firefighters tackled a blaze at a bungalow last night.

The flames erupted at a property at Dunstall Gardens, St Mary's Bay.

Crews were called out at about 9.40pm and four fire engines were sent.

Firefighters took on the flames wearing breathing apparatus and using main jets.

Neighbours were told to keep their windows and doors closed to stop smoke from the fire going into their properties.

Firefighters were at the scene until about 11.44pm and no casualties were reported.
