Biker killed in country lane smash is named

The 17-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash on a country road near Sandwich has been named as Nicholas Twyman.

An opening inquest has been told that the teenager, of Downs Road, East Studdal, died at the scene of the smash on Foxborough Hill, Woodnesborough, on Saturday night.

Coroner Rebecca Cobb adjourned the case, to a date yet to be announced.

The teenager was also known in the Sandwich area as Nick Walton.
