Prince's Golf Club at Sandwich Bay is to host a PGA EuroTour event this year.

The tournament will take place on June 9-11 and Danny Nickless, operations manager of the PGA EuroPro Tour, said: "Prince’s Golf Club is one of the most challenging venues in British golf and we’re delighted that we are back there this summer."

The EuroPro Tour is a development tour for professionals hoping to progress to the full PGA Tour, and Prince's last staged one of their tournaments in 2002.

Bill Howie, Director of the Prince’s Leisure Group, said: "Prince’s is pleased to welcome back the PGA EuroPro Tour, where the players can be assured of a warm welcome on a tough golf course.”
