Suspected county line drug dealer from Swanley arrested in Queenborough

A suspected county line drug dealer has been arrested.

On Tuesday, January 17 police on patrol in Sheerness saw a man sitting in a car they suspected was involved in the supply of class A drugs.

The vehicle was stopped outside an address in Queenborough and the man who got out of the passenger seat was arrested.

Police seized a dismantled mobile phone from the car and £495 in cash.

A bag of cocaine, some cannabis and a phone SIM card were also recovered at the police station.

Investigators from Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team later charged Freddie Stevens of Brook Road, Swanley, with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and heroin, possession of cocaine and cannabis and possessing criminal property, namely the seized cash.

The 23-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court where he was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on February 16.
