A county lines drug supplier from London has been jailed.

Jordan Watkis arranged for a man to sell crack cocaine and heroin in Sheerness while he agreed the deals from his home in London.

The 22-year-old will now face five years in prison after pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

Detectives used mobile phone analysis to discover the pair travelled to Sheppey together on September 6. Watkis then returned to the capital.

He then recieved several text messages from local drug users. Watkis put them in touch with his associate after agreeing a price.

On Monday, September 10 he returned to Kent and was arrested at a home in Sydney Road in Chatham the following day.

Following his trial at Maidstone Crown Court, investigating officer detective constable Robin Hemsley said: "London gangs are always looking for new markets in which to sell crack cocaine and heroin but this case demonstrates that we do not tolerate such offending in any part of Kent.
