Masked men have mugged two people of mobile phones in Sheerness

Two people have been mugged of their mobile phones in Sheerness.

Police had reports of a robbery in Hawthorn Avenue which happened around 6.30pm on Friday.

Two man in balaclavas approached a victim and made off with his phone.

The following day, at around 6.50pm, another victim was approached in Coronation Road by two men in balaclavas and there was an altercation before they stole his phone.

Reports a teenage victim was punched in the face are unconfirmed.

The police helicopter was searching for the men but no one has been arrested.
