Sheppey’s mystery artist has left a touching tribute to the Fallen from two world wars.

As Remembrance Sunday approaches on November 9 the creator of mini Moo Mop Mouse seafront murals has left his mark at a memorial in Eastchurch .

He explained: “This year’s Remembrance Sunday is going to be very different to previous years. So beneath the words ‘We Will Remember Them’ I have written ‘This year we may not gather.

‘This year we may not march.”

‘This year we will not... forget!”

It is the latest and most serious creation from the anony-mouse artist and shows Moo Mop Mouse holding her poppy with pride with a vase alongside.

In the vase is another poppy with its last ‘forget me not petal’ blowing away.

It has been painted on a piece of wood at the village’s memorial to aviation pioneers.
