It was all in a day’s work for Sheppey firefighters when three–year–old Sasha Greening got her arm stuck fast in a photo–booth.

The toddler was in the Co–op in High Street, Sheerness, with mum Charlene, 29, and sisters Paige, two, and Christopher, one, when the drama happened.

Sasha, of the town’s St George’s Avenue, managed to get her arm wedged in a holding bar in the booth while her mum’s back was turned for a second while paying for shopping.

Mrs Greening said: “I want to publicly thank the Co–op staff for trying to release her with butter off the shelves. And I also want to praise the firefighters who managed to eventually free her after 15 minutes.”

Firefighter Paul Ross said: “We used a special hydraulic tool to release her. We normally use it to prise doors apart in road crashes but in this case we managed to prise the bar away from her arm so she could get it out.”
