Appeal after puppy is snatched in park

POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of a dog from a public park in a Kent village.

The incident happened on Monday between 4pm and 4.10pm at Woodcombe Park, Church Road, Tonge, near Sittingbourne.

The dog's owner had let the animal off the lead when two males approached, picked it up and ran off with it.

The female Doberman Alsatian cross is aged between five and six months old. She is brown and black and wore a blue nylon collar.
