Gemma said: “We had Rykard and Rachel from Love Island come along which sent the teenagers of Sittingbourne into meltdown.

“There were so many people there and it was really fantastic.”

In the last two years, the trio have raised more than £20,000 for charities.

The attractions included a football auction, with lots such as tickets to see Premier League giants Arsenal, stalls and rides. Other money was raised through sponsorship from businesses around the area and raffles.

Cherished Whispers offers support and creates memory boxes for bereaved parents. It was chosen as a close friend of Gemma’s lost a baby at 37 weeks.

Lola’s Journey benefits nine-year-old Lola Stockdale, who suffers with four-limb cerebral palsy. She was among those at the fun day.

The youngster’s parents, from Gillingham, hope to send her to the United States for stem cell treatment to improve her quality of life but still need to raise £25,000.

And the Brompton Fountain, which helped Amber Howe, a Sittingbourne schoolgirl who has a pacemaker, will also benefit.
