Helicopter search over Sittingbourne after man exposes himself in garden

A police helicopter was scrambled after reports of a man exposing himself in a garden and trying to get into a house.

Officers were called just after 6.20pm to a house in Epps Road, Sittingbourne.

Shortly afterwards police received another report that a man had attempted to get into another house in the same road.

Patrols searched the area, directed by a helicopter hovering overhead.

At about 8pm a 22-year-old man was stopped and arrested at a factory site in Staplehurst Road.

He has been bailed until September 14 pending further enquiries.
