Kent man Lewis Thorne among three charged following man's death outside No 65 bar in Vauxhall

A Kent bouncer has been charged following the death of a 30-year-old man outside a London nightclub.

Lewis Thorne, 22, is one of three charged with gross negligence manslaughter after Adam Hird died.

Thorne, of St Lawrence Chase, Ramsgate, is jointly accused with fellow bouncers Mark Pantalleresco, 51, of Brighton Road in Tadworth, Surrey, and Sebastiano Ragusa, 30, of Celandine Close, E14, London.

The charges relate to an incident outside the No.65 bar on the Albert Embankment in Vauxhall, SE1 in the early hours of June 15 last year.

All three men were bailed to appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 9.

Mr Hird is believed to have been an aspiring pilot, who was close to being qualified.
