Pair arrested after 'heroin' find in Clements Road, Ramsgate

Two people have been arrested after wraps of suspected class A drugs were seized by police who stopped a vehicle in Ramsgate.

On Saturday, March 30, officers stopped a car in Clements Road, Ramsgate.

A police spokesman said: "They searched the occupants and found 35 wraps of what is thought to be heroin. They also seized cash and several mobile phones.

"Two people were arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply.

"A 50-year-old woman and 41-year-old man were both interviewed in connection with the offences before being released under investigation while inquiries continue."
