A police helicopter circled a district last night helping officers look for a man who is suspected to be linked to a number of burglaries.

The chopper was seen over the Millmead area of Thanet at around 9pm last night.

Police spokesman Andy Saunders said that it was reported that the suspect had been seen in Invicta Road at around 7.20pm.

Mr Saunders said: "He remains outstanding."

The man has not yet been found.
