A woman has been arrested after a man is believed to have been stabbed in the neck in Ramsgate.

The 32-year-old is today being questioned on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm yesterday.

Kent Police were called to flats in Plains of Waterloo after reports of a suspected domestic incident at about 5.50pm.

A spokesman said a man was taken to hospital with a minor stab wound, but has since been disharged.

Witnesses spotted the Kent Air Ambulance landing in Arklow Square.

One said there was a large police prescene around Kennedy House and reported seeing "blood everywhere".

The arrested woman remains in police custody today.
