Headed up by duo Jackson Berg and Natalia Ribbe, they have moved their businesses from the streets of Cliftonville to the skies of the town.

Social distancing measures will be in place as businesses reopen after months of lockdown.

Ms Ribbe said she was excited to be on the rooftop for the 12-week stint this summer.

"How lucky to be able to see those gorgeous Margate skies while cooking and serving our food," she said.

"Even more so, it’s been really reassuring post lockdown how many people are glad to see us back and eager to come - the response to our return has been overwhelming."

Ms Ribbe, who runs Ladies of Restaurants, has created the drinks list - including wines on tap, and a cocktail menu inspired by family favourites and summertime classics.

The food is inspired by Mediterranean cuisine and the businesses has previously toured Dreamland last summer and Urchin Wines in the winter.

While the temporary restaurant has started serving, plans have been approved to demolish the building to make way for a seafront hotel.

The Sea View Hotel is part of a £50 million redevelopment of Dreamland and the town's seafront by the amusement park's parent company, Margate Estates.

Barletta will be open until October 4 and for more information, click here.
